These June 28 notes refer to filming sessions for the NBC TV Special with lip-synched playback to prerecordings. However, the first part of It Hurts Me has vocal overdub of prerecordings with original vocals taken out. The prerecordings were recorded between June 20-23 and mixed on June 24. Unofficial video copies have circulated since the late 1970's. Sequences with only playback/lip-synch are listed in gray color since they do not provide any recording session information, but belong in the context.

The correct dates of the first Gospel medley parts and the carnival scenes - Big Boss Man and It Hurts Me, have not been verified as no video outtakes have been found. The Gospel medley was scheduled to be rehearsed on June 26 and taped on June 27, but it is possible production was behind schedule by then.
