Notes:

Most of the original session tapes were recorded over, probably after 1959. Recovered, surving parts are thought to comprise incomplete I Got a Woman (take 6 or earlier) through I Was the One (take 3 or later), with master takes cut from tape. According to BMG, all complete takes have been released and the outtake of I Got a Woman released on 'Today, Tomorrow and Forever' is spliced from the intro of the already released 'Platinum' take (0:00-0:03, "I got a woman") and the second half (0:59-2:26, "way 'cross town"...end) of previously unreleased take. The missing first minute of the take recorded indicates that this is the first of the surving parts on tape and since the 'Platinum' version intro was used it could mean there are no other intros on tape, which would mean that the 'Platinum' version could be take 7 and the incomplete 'TTAF' version might be take 6.

Unfortunately, the 'Today, Tomorrow and Forever' version of
I Got a Woman has been ruined by a terrible noise filter resulting in an almost sinus-shaped signal loss between 4 and 8 kHz, centered at 6 kHz. The result could easily be mistaken for "swishy" MPEG artifacts. It has been subjected to hard limiting raising the level more than 100%(+6 dB) than the 'Platinum' outtake. This is thought to be about +3 dB above the natural 0 dB level and is considered to only slightly decrease the dynamics on very loud vocal parts of this recording.

The masters from this session have yet to be released in decent sound quality.
